Description:
Alternative splicing removes the APC/C KEN-box degron motif of M-phase inducer phosphatase 2 (CDC25B), abrogating binding to Fizzy-related protein homolog (FZR1). The motif-lacking Isoform CDC25B2 of M-phase inducer phosphatase 2 (CDC25B) is not degraded during mitosis, unlike other isoforms.
