About
The articles.ELM resource is a companion of the Eukaryotic Linear Motif (ELM). resource of manually curated experimentally validated Short, Linear Motif (SLiM) instances. The resource is a built around a manually collected set of ~8,000 articles related to SLiMs, their function and the regulation. These articles have been (i) automatically annotated with a range of relevant biological data allowing in-depth search functionality and (ii) classified using an article classification tool to group articles based on their similarity to manually curated motif classes in the ELM resource. The articles.ELM resource permits rapid and accurate discovery of relevant articles thereby improving the visibility of motif literature and simplifying the recovery of valuable biological insights sequestered within scientific articles. Consequently, this web resource removes a critical bottleneck for scientific productivity for the motif biology field.
